COMMUNITY AND DIVERSITY - Diversity
The CRF workforce is learning a life lesson of tolerance and understanding when working with those of diverse cultures and languages. The diverse workforce and diversity training for managers has increased the skills and techniques of those in the management team, which are invaluable for the direction and growth of the company.
CRF strives to provide a harmonious environment, by endeavoring to listen and cater to employee needs. For our Muslim employees, a specific prayer room is provided for their Salat, the five daily ritual prayers- Fahr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha'a. This enables those who follow the Islamic faith to feel accepted and understood by their employer and to have a space where they can freely practice their religion, without fear of discrimination.
At the present time, CRF employ people who hail from Sudan, China, Fiji, New Zealand, Scotland, England and the Philippines to name a few. In a town where only 6.8% of the citizens were born overseas, approximately 25% of CRF's workers are from countries other than Australia, which is astounding.
