EMPLOYMENT - Working Enviroment
CRF's strong commitment to their people and local community, and dedication to researching and using "best practice" techniques, has resulted in some of the most progressive human resource practices in the meat industry, including a thorough two-day induction (held for all new employees) covering all aspects of operations at the plant. CRF also run an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and a dedicated Culture Change Program.
CRF always seek to openly communicate any issues or
changes that may be occurring with their employees, in order
to fulfil its mission values of trust and honesty,
partnership and service and sustainability.
All managers at CRF have completed Diversity training. This
lends to a patient, understanding, and tolerant management
team, who, aware of the potential challenges facing new
recruits and the current employees, can mentor and have a
positive influence on the entire workforce.
